"On behalf of more than 230 public associations-collective members of the Chamber, representing the interests of millions of people of eleven countries, the Chamber declares a resolute protest to the genocide being committed in Kosovo against the Serbian population under the patronage of the NATO", reads the document.
"The Union Public Chamber supports the humanitarian assistance given by the Russian Federation to the Serbian population of Kosovo and expresses confidence that this assistance will build up", the statement continues.
"The Chamber fully approves the statement made in connection with the developments in the Serbian land Kosovo, adopted by the 25th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Russia-Belarus Union, and believes that resolute actions must be taken by the United Nations Security Council, the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE and PACE for settling the on-going conflict in line with the international law", the statement goes on to say.
"We appeal to international public, national non-governmental organisations, civil institutions for doing everything necessary to overcome the effects of the Kosovo tragedy and ensure guarantees of a life of dignity for the population of Kosovo", the statement emphasises.
