MOSCOW
* French President Jacques Chirac will arrive in Moscow on a working visit.
* A delegation of the Syrian Parliament's group of friendship with the Federal Assembly (Russian two-house parliament) will start its visit to the Russian Federation. The business program of the visit, which will last until April 8, will start on April 5.
* A number of Orthodox organizations will hold a rally and read a public prayer in support of Kosovo's Serbs. Up to 500 people are expected to participate, including State Duma deputies, politicians, human rights champions, and cultural figures.
ASTANA
* Viktor Khristenko, the Russian Minister of Industry and Energy, will take part in a regular session of the high-level Group for establishing a common economic space of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
