NEW-YORK. April 11 (RIA Novosti) - Ukranian boxer, Vladimir Klitschko was sensationally defeated in the title fight in the super-heavyweight division on the World Boxing Organization's (WBO) version. On Saturday American Lamon Brewster won the fight in the very end of the fifth round knocking the Ukranian challenger out.
Before that Vladimir Klitschko (28) was on the lead and even knocked the American down in the forth round. It seemed that Brewster would not last another second inside the ropes. But in the fifth round Klitschko's tiredness became obvious and Brewster used his chance.
Before the fight Klitschko was considered a favorite in Las-Vegas, and bookmakers took bids on him at 11:1.
Vladimir has lost his WBO Champion title a year ago when he was defeated by Corrie Sanders. The elder Klitschko, Vitaly is to fight with Sanders April 24.
