MOSCOW, April 12 (RIA Novosti) - Russia sees nothing incompatible between Ukraine's voicing its desire to enter the European Union and being a member of the emerging common economic environment of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, Russian deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Chizhov told the RIA Novosti news conference.
"We have for two years been conducting negotiations on the unfolding of the European Economic Environment. Simultaneously, the formation of the common economic environment is in progress", Chizhov said.
"In principle, these are not competing but parallel processes. The question is how to make them mutually complementary", Vladimir Chizhov noted.
