The agreement has been inked by Ahmed al-Midfah, president of the UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Sergei Avdeyev of the Business Center for CIS Economic Development.
Avdeyev told RIA Novosti on Monday that the center (3,000 square meters of designed exhibition floor space) will hold presentations and exhibitions of trade-economic, industrial, scientific-technical and other CIS achievements.
The center will help CIS companies and enterprises to arrange business contacts with partners in the UAE and other Mideastern countries, Avdeyev said.
"We attach much importance to further cooperation with countries of the CIS," al-Midfah told RIA Novosti. "Thanks to the center, it will be possible to better coordinate economic and trade relations with account for the interests of each participant in this big economic space."
