According to him, the most important issues to be addressed by the Commission will concern the bilateral Russian-Tajik cooperation and provision of due legislative support for the latter. The two sides are also planning to discuss a possibility of establishing a standing working group to monitor the status of the contractual-legal base of the two countries' cooperation.
Sultanov pointed out that in the course of its visit to Moscow the delegation of Tajik MPs headed by Co-Chairman of the Interparliamentary Commission Yusuf Akhmedov, is also going to meet with Education and Justice Ministers of the Russian Federation. At their meeting, the two sides intend to discuss the terms of ratification of the CIS Convention on transfer of convicted criminals for subsequent service of penal sentences.
