MOSCOW, April 26 (RIA Novosti) - The problems related to the EU expansion should be resolved on Tuesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at the traditional Monday session of the Russian President with the Cabinet.
On Monday evening Mr. Lavrov leaves for Luxembourg to attend the EU troika.
"The main task is to confirm the agreements that will define our relations with the EU after its expansion," the minister said.
"After the Moscow talks the documents are virtually coordinated. Tomorrow we hope to complete it," he emphasized.
In this context Vladimir Putin asked about the preparations for the Russia-EU summit.
"We have to clear up the processes related to the EU expansion, the problems are to be resolved positively tomorrow and then we will start preparing the Russia-EU summit due in Moscow on May 21st," the minister said.
