Anti-dumping measures in regard to some Russian goods, including ammonium nitrate, potassium chloride, electric steel, silicon carbide, aluminum foil, and steel ropes and cables were to have been extended from May 1 to the new members of the EU.
However, Russia and the EU agreed to take transitional measures, as a result of which anti-dumping procedures will not extend to deliveries of the above-mentioned goods to the new "Ten" of the EU, Mr. Medvedkov said.
Besides, he said, the sides agreed that on the initiative of Russian exporters, revision of anti-dumping measures in the framework of the whole European Union may start already this year.
"Within one-two years, exporters will be able to cancel anti-dumping measures," said Mr. Medvedkov.
