Deputy chief of the press service Zurab Khoperia told RIA Novosti that the Abashidze-signed order for the mobilization of all the citizens subject to military service has just arrived to the press service.
Earlier, Khoperia rejected general-mobilization reports as "untrue to fact".
The text of Abashidze's mobilization decree, which has come to hand at RIA Novosti, says that mobilization goes for all the subjects to military service in Adzharia. Under the decree, boards of the Adzharian State Security Ministry and Security Councils are emerging in every district. Their goal is to prevent the emergence of illegal armed formations and unrest.
Aslan Abashidze and Rostom Dzhaparidze, chairman of the Adzharian Council of Ministers, will coordinate work of the new structures.
