TIRASPOL, April 28 (RIA Novosti) - A draft joint declaration on establishing a federative state of two equal-rights entities - today's Moldova and Transdnestria - has been published in Transdnestria (the self-proclaimed republic with mostly Russian-speaking population within Moldova).

According to the document, published by the Transdnestrian mass media, the Moldovan, Russian and Ukrainian will be the state languages in the future federation.

In the idea of the Transdnestrian developers of the draft, the declaration is to be approved at a referendum, to be held with separate vote count in Moldova and Transdnestria.

In case of approval, the federative state is considered established on the date of the referendum. If not, the population is regarded unwilling to create a united state, the draft says.

Until full demilitarization of the federative state, the armed forces are formed and operate in line with the territorial principle, the document stresses.

Last Monday the document, titled On the Approval by the Peoples of the Republic of Moldova and the Transdnestrian Moldovan Republic of the RM-TMR Federative State, was presented to the intermediaries and the Moldovan partners at the talks on settling the Transdnestrian problem.
