FINANCE MINISTRY TO PAY $28.25 MILLION AND 20.72 MILLION EUROS TO IMF

MOSCOW, April 30 (RIA Novosti) - On Friday, April 30, the Russian Finance Ministry will make a regular debt payment to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The Finance Ministry told RIA Novosti that $28,255,600 would be paid to count towards the main debt.

This payment will be the fourth and last in the April series of payments in this debt category and will be made in strict compliance with the schedule.

In addition, to count towards the interests 20,721,000 euros will be paid to the IMF. This payment was scheduled for Saturday, May 1 but since it is a day-off the payment will be made on April 30, the Finance Ministry reported.

All in all Russia is to pay $1.7 billion to the IMF this year.
