MOSCOW, April 30 (RIA Novosti) - Russian and Uzbek Presidents Vladimir Putin and Islam Karimov discussed the implementation of recent agreements by phone on Friday.
The implementation of the agreements achieved during Islam Karimov's visit to Moscow was started at once, the Kremlin press service told RIA Novosti.
In addition, the two leaders considered bilateral and multilateral cooperation in Central Asia.
The telephone conversation took place on Uzbekistan's initiative.
