The fair is being held at the Dubai international exhibition center for the 29th time and has gathered participants from over 20 countries of the world.
The exhibition's Russian segment, as its administrative director Alexei Kormnov told RIA Novosti, displays the products of over 30 Russian companies: furniture, household items, construction materials and equipment, electrical goods, the products of handicrafts and crystal glass.
According to Kormnov, although the exhibition has just been opened, some traders from the UAE, Middle Eastern countries, China, India and Australia have already displayed their interest in the Russian goods. Agreement has been already reached on the purchase of some goods featured at the exhibition.
On Monday, Russia's National Day will be held within the framework of the Dubai-2004 exhibition of consumer goods. The exhibition will last until May 6.
