MOSCOW, May 18 (RIA Novosti) - The confrontation around the Sodbusinessbank, whose banking license has been recently withdrawn by the Central Bank because of violating the money-laundering law, is becoming a criminal case, Andrei Kozlov, first deputy chairman of the Central Bank, told the press conference.

He said that the other day he sent an official letter to the Interior Ministry telling of violations of the federal legislation by persons occupying the Sodbusinessbank.

"A typical provocation is going on in the bank", Kozlov said.

The bank has been occupied by a group of armed men unknown to the ad-hoc administration appointed by the Central Bank. The former management of Sodbusinessbank says it has been removed from office and the ad-hoc administration is not let in by the armed men.

Andrei Kozlov also said that the ad-hoc administration has re-signed the contract with the Sodbusinessbank security, whose officers are not let into the building, too.

According to Mr. Kozlov, the armed men now inside the bank are passing documents to strangers. "We have grounds to believe that documents and valuables are being stolen", Kozlov said.

"Things may end up too bad" for organisers of this action, he stressed.
