Sholokhov historians and scholars have long doubted that he is the author of Quest Flows the Don. In some information, at the time of writing the novel Sholokhov was nor more than 14 years old.
"The history of culture and literature abounds in examples when very young people created masterpieces", well-known publicist and Sholokhov scholar Lev Kolodny told the press conference on Friday. "At the age of 12 to 14, young people are very impressive, see and remember what many adults fail to notice", he said.
For this birth anniversary film director Vladimir Meletin has produced a documentary on Sholokhov. The film opens a whole series on one of the leading Russian television channels Writer and Leader.
In this film, Sholokhov's children, men of letters, journalists and historians will speak of earlier unknown facts of the Sholokhov biography.
