FOREIGN SERVICEMEN TO PARTICIPATE IN MILITARY EXERCISES IN UKRAINE

KIEV, May 26 (RIA Novosti's Viktor Demidenko) - Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma ordered to admit foreign military units to multinational exercises in Ukraine in 2004.

The order was signed in compliance with the ratification of the relevant law by the Supreme Rada, the press service of the Ukrainian President's staff told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.

According to the President's order, ground military units from Italy, the USA, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Canada, Poland and Lithuania will be admitted to the exercises in Ukraine.

Foreign servicemen will participate in four exercises.

The Ukrainian government is to provide prompt admission and withdrawal from Ukraine of the relevant foreign military units.
