Children will deliver reports on global energy problems and the use of alternative energy sources.
Children from 14 countries (Russia, the USA, Great Britain, India, New Zealand, Denmark, South Korea, Israel, Czechia, Latvia, Turkey, Germany, Estonia and Finland), representatives of the Lenenergo management and consuls general of diplomatic missions in St. Petersburg participate in the conference.
At the same time the 6th international children's drawing forum "The Ecology of Soul" opens in Kaliningrad (the center of the Russian exclave on the Baltic Sea) on Friday. It will run until June 1.
"Children from 30 art schools of Russia, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden will participate in the forum. The events will open with a pedagogical seminar. Teachers of the Moscow State Industry Institute will deliver lectures on the news ways of the development of art education, training of entrants into art and design colleges and all-Russia art contests," said the press service of the Kaliningrad City Hall.
The best works will be exhibited in the Kaliningrad art gallery. Special booklets and calendars with these drawings will be published, as well.
