MOSCOW, June 1 (RIA Novosti) - The Ministry for Emergency and Calamity Relief is ready to take away all Interenergoservice Co. employees staying in Iraq to this day, Deputy Minister Yuri Brazhnikov said to Novosti.

"The company appealed to us to evacuate the 47 men, one of them badly wounded." The Interenergoservice has applied for a charter flight to Baghdad Friday next, June 4.

The ministry's planes took away from Baghdad more than 150 company employees last week. One of the men had been badly injured in a company bus attack.

"We had all conditions for the patient, and our doctors were attending to him during the flight. As soon as the plane landed, a helicopter took the man to the Sklifossovsky Institute [Moscow's central first aid hospital]," said Mr. Brazhnikov.

The other patient is being t reated in Baghdad's American hospital, and it is up to his doctors to decide whether he can stand the trip.

Managers of the Moscow-based Interenergoservice power plant construction and maintenance company determined to evacuate the personnel, at long last, after terrorists shot at a company bus in Baghdad, May 26, to kill two and injure eight.

That was not a first bloodshed that involved the company in Iraq. An armed crew broke into a company dwelling house, April 13, to take nine residents hostage. One was released rather soon. The other eight's plight was longer.

Men unidentified to this day shot at a company car in a Baghdad suburbia, May 10. One Russian, Alexei Konorev, died on the spot. The other two, Alexander Gordienko and Andrei Mescheryakov, were kidnapped, and released, May 17, after a trying week. The group that owned up the outrage, Victorious Community Army, had been unknown up to the tragic day.

The Interenergoservice had four contracts in Iraq, to a lump US$30 million. Repair and maintenance contracts for the Dora, South Baghdad and Al-Mussaib thermal plants were signed January 20, March 7 and March 10, respectively. The company made another contract, with the Interim Governing Council, March 7 to supply electronic units to the Al Nassiriyah thermal plant.
