MOSCOW, JUNE 2 (RIA Novosti) - The potential of Russian software producers lets them earn up to 20 billion dollars already now from their foreign exports.

This opinion was voiced on Wednesday by Valentin Makarov, president of the Russian Software Developers' Association, at the briefing on the fourth international conference Russian Outsourcing and Software Summit.

He said that "now, the amount of the world outsourcing market stands at about one trillion dollars and Russian developers can already now earn here about 20 billion dollars annually".

"Given state support, we will make a leap in the development of the sector", Makarov said.

A concept for support of Russia's software export has been prepared to be submitted to the State Duma.

"The main direction of the concept is, certainly, the lifting of administrative barriers, simplification of procedures for the sectoral companies", Makarov said.

To him, one of the directions of this concept is the broad introduction of the modern quality standards for the enterprises in the sector.

Makarov also declared the need of support for higher education and basic research in software developments, which is another part of the concept.
