ANOTHER TWO TERRORISTS KILLED IN CHECHNYA

GROZNY, June 4 (RIA Novosti) - In the Urus Martan district of Chechnya, servicemen of the Russian Interior Ministry forces killed two active members of illegal armed formations in the course of a special operation, RIA Novosti was told by a spokesman for the law enforcement bodies of Chechnya.

The spokesman said that this special operation was conducted yesterday at the village of Roshni-Chu in the Urus Martan district. Two militants rendered armed resistance to the servicemen and were finally killed during a short battle.

"The killed militants were Yukhnayev, an inhabitant of Grozny, and Ginayev, an inhabitant of the regional center of Achkhoi-Tartan. One servicemen was wounded during the skirmish," the spokesman said.

"From the place of the accident the servicemen withdrew two grenade launchers, a Kalashnikov sub-machine gun and a Makarov pistol. Investigation has been started," he added.
