As Foreign Minister of Serbia and Montenegro told reporters on Wednesday, they discussed many things: for example, the construction of a gas pipeline, the projects of Russia's participation in privatising banks and tourist facilities, and also the issues of military-economic cooperation.
"In this way it will be possible to settle the clearing debt to the Russian Federation," Draskovic said.
The Russian minister pointed out that the implementation of these agreements will help develop bilateral cooperation between Russia and Serbia and Montenegro. "I hope that our private capital will be interested in the proposals of the Serbian side, and this interest will find an answer," Lavrov said.
According to Draskovic, on behalf of the Council of Ministers of Serbia and Montenegro he passed over two strategic "no" and four strategic "yes" to the Russian minister. "No" - to the policy of Slobodan Milosevic when Belgrade "poked" Russia to new conflicts with the USA and the European Union; "no" to the underestimation of Russia's role in international affairs, the Foreign Minister of Serbia and Montenegro said.
"Yes" - to political and economic contacts; to Russian economic expansion to Serbia and Montenegro on conditions that are given to Western companies; to cooperation against global terrorism; to the role of Russia in all international organisations, he added.
"Serbia and Montenegro does not take any decisions without Russia's participation in their solution," Vuc Draskovic underscored.
