RUSSIAN, PORTUGUESE PARLIAMENTARIANS TO PLAY FRIENDLY MATCH IN LISBON

LISBON, June 16 (RIA Novosti) - Russian and Portuguese parliamentarians will play a friendly football match in Lisbon on Wednesday, said the press service of the Portuguese National Assembly.

The Russian State Duma team includes 13 parliamentarians, however, its captain, Speaker Boris Gryzlov, failed to arrive in Portugal.

The football team of the Portuguese parliament includes members of Russia-Portugal friendship group formed in the National Assembly in late April 2004.

The game will take place at the stadium of Bolognese football club in Restelo (Lisbon).

After that, the State Duma deputies will visit the Portuguese parliament and meet with its speaker Joao Bosco Mota Amaral.

Later this day, the Russian and Portuguese national teams will play a match in Group A at Luz stadium.
