A Russian spokesman and current committee chair addressed a Security Council session yesterday to take stock of present-day committee activities and blueprint practical moves for the next three months. The conferees met the program with unanimous approval, Russia's Foreign Ministry press and information department says in a public statement.
Delegates of the Security Council member states and other countries represented at the session highly evaluated the Russian contribution to a committee reform. Chief coordinator of the anti-terror cause under the UN aegis, the committee has assuredly embarked on the road of implementing Security Council resolution No. 1335, stressed the gathering.
The resolution envisages Counter-terrorist Committee activities bolstered up.
