The best racers from the Hong Kong Royal Yachting Club will take part in the competition for the first time. This club's crew is made up of racers from New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Australia and the United States.
The two-stage race will be held in the Gulf of Amur, RIA Novosti learnt from the administration of the Seven Feet Yachting Club. About 100 young yachtsmen from Vladivostok, Nakhodka, Khabarovsk and other Russian cities will vie at the first stage.
The second stage, to be held on July 31 through August 1, is the fleet and match race for cruising yachts of the Conrad 25 class. Over thirty Conrad 25 yachts will participate.
The best Russian racer Maxim Taranov (19th in the world rating) from Yekaterinburg will vie for the Seven Feet prize.
Georgy Shaiduko, two times yachting champion of the world, from Moscow has agreed to participate.
