MOSCOW, July 22 (RIA Novosti) - Gazprom does not plan to cut gas supplies to Georgia, Sergei Kupriyanov, press secretary of the Gazprom CEO, told RIA Novosti.

Gas supplies to Georgia were cut from 370,000 to 200,000 cubic meters daily in April in connection with the accumulation of debts for current gas supplies, he stressed.

"We made no new decisions on further cutting or restoring of full-volume gas supplies," Mr. Kupriyanov said.

According to him, on Thursday Tbilgazi submitted to Gazexport a schedule of gas debt repayment and this document is under consideration now.

Formerly Gazexport CEO Alexander Medvedev reported that Georgia's debt for current gas supplies totals $12 million and $50-60 million for previous gas supplies.
