GELENDZHIK, JULY 23 (RIA Novosti) - Vladimir Putin rules out the possibility of whatever political decisions to be taken on the legality of privatisation. This was his comment at the sitting of the presidium of the State Council (consultative organ under the president) on the statement of Krasnodar governor Alexander Tkachev that illegal, in his view, privatisation of some resorts should be revised.
"There can be no general political approach to the legality of privatisation. It is wholly out of question", Putin said.
He stressed that, if there are claims to be put to concrete owners of a property, they are to be determined by court in line with the present legislation.
"I think it should be clear to us all that this process is possible only within judicial judgement", the president noted.
