The arrestee was carrying a Kalashnikov sub-machine gun with cartridges and a Makarov pistol.

A Ural vehicle belonging to the Russian interior ministry has hit a mine in Chechnya's Vedeno district, according to a source in the Staff of the Joint Group of Forces in the North Caucasus.
The incident took place near the village of Oktyabrskoye at 1:50 p.m. yesterday. "A radio controlled explosive device went off under the Ural vehicle that was carrying servicemen," said the source.
The device is believed to have been made of an artillery shell.
