He said the training would involve 400 officials from Russia's all 89 constituent regions -- deputy governors, deputy prime ministers of republics and regions, military commissioners and deputy military commissioners for conscription issues, and chairpersons of military medical examination commissions.
Russian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Yuri Baluyevsky will be in charge of the cycle, and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov is expected to supervise the training process.
According to Azarov, the goal of the training cycle will be to generalize the experience of various Russian regions in the arrangement of patriotic education and conscription campaigns. The session will result in new common understanding of the preparation of Russian citizens to military service and approaches to conscription principles, he said.
