MOSCOW, August 10 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Federation Council Speaker Sergei Mironov comes out against the transfer of the key power bodies from Moscow to other Russian cities.
"I am convinced that the legislative and executive powers, as well as the President, should work in Moscow," Mr. Mironov said at a press conference following the results of the upper house's work during the spring session on Tuesday.
"The judicial power can be located in some other city, not only St. Petersburg," he noted.
If some capital functions are transferred, the value of this transfer for Russia and the city should be exactly calculated, he stressed.
