MOSCOW, August 23 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's oil production including gas condensate grew by 10.3% in the first six months of 2004 as compared to the same period in 2003 and totaled 223.5 million metric tons, the Russian State Statistics Service told RIA Novosti on Monday.
Oil sales on the domestic market increased by 0.6% to 94.4 million metric tons.
Oil exports grew by 4.2% and totaled 110.2 million metric tons. Exports accounted for 49.3% of oil production.
The share of oil exports in Russia's total exports in the first half of 2004 totaled 28.4% against 28.5% in January-June 2003 and in fuel and energy exports it totaled 52% against 49%.
Receipts to transit foreign currency accounts of oil companies increased by 32.7% to $25.248 billion as compared to the same period in 2003.
