The conference gave special attention to the tasks facing Gazprom in 2005, in particular, the assignment to boost gas production to 545.2 billion cubic metres, the press release notes
In order to achieve the goals set, it is necessary to carry out all the projected measures, to ensure the commissioning of a number of facilities this year, and to complete all the planned well hookups, the press release continues.
In 2004, Gazprom is planning to produce 545.2 billion cubic metres of gas, as against 540.2 billion cubic metres last year.
Over the first seven months of this year, Gazprom produced 318 billion cubic metres of gas, i.e., 4.8 billion cubic metres more than last year over the same period, and 2.3 billion cubic metres more than the planned target, the press release reads.
An increase in gas output was largely due to the development of the Zapolyarny field (14.8 billion cubic metres of gas).
Gazprom's production of gas condensate and oil over the same period reached 6,902,900 tons.
