MOSCOW, August 25 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has charged the government with drafting immediate amendments to legislative acts in order to transfer functions of control and security provision, in particular, pre-flight checking, from airport administrations to the Interior Ministry, presidential press secretary reported.
According to him, the head of state has made this decision following his meeting with power ministers in the Kremlin on Wednesday in connection with air crashes in the Tula and Rostov regions.
