PARIS, August 30 (RIA Novosti's Andrei Nizamutdinov) - Peter Schieder, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, or PACE, denounces terror blasts of two passenger liners in Russia. "Whatever goals terrorists might be pursuing, and whatever form terrorism might take, it has no justification," he said, as Novosti was informed at the PACE headquarters in Strasbourg.
Mr. Schieder denounced the "heinous acts", and made an emphasis on unlimited PACE support of anti-terror combat. He called for closer and smoother international coordination of anti-terror efforts.
The PACE President expressed heartfelt condolence with bereaved families and friends, and Russian authorities.
The two air crashes of night August 24 killed ninety.
