Admiral Vladimir Kuroyedov, in command of the Russian Navy, attends the gala. The Russian ships will pay official visits to the Taranto and Augusta seaports, Italy, and take part in Italian naval exercises.

* Heads of supreme financial monitoring and control agencies of countries within the Commonwealth of Independent States are opening conference, to last through September 2.
