GOVERNMENT ALLOCATES 100,000 RUBLES TO FAMILIES OF AIR CRASH VICTIMS

MOSCOW, August 31 (RIA Novosti) - On August 24, the Russian government decided to allocate 100,000 to each family of the Tu-134 and Tu-154 air crash victims, Transport Minister Igor Levitin said at a cabinet session.

He also said that some regions had independently decided to provide aid to the relatives of the victims, including cover funeral expenses. The Volgograd region will allocate 50,000 rubles for each of the victims, Volgograd - 100,000 rubles, Krasnodar territory - 50,000 rubles, Moscow and the Moscow region - 100,000 rubles each.

Damage is already being paid in Volgograd to the families of the victims of the Tu-134 crash.
