FSB PUBLISHES INFORMATION ON SUSPECTS OF AUGUST 24 TERRORIST ATTACKS

MOSCOW, August 31 (RIA Novosti) - The suspected perpetrators of the terrorist attacks on August 24 in the Tu-134 and Tu-154 planes used passports issued to Dzhebirkhanova and Nagaeva, stated the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).

"The investigative actions and technical expertise established that the suspected perpetrators of the terrorist attacks used passports issued to Satsita Dzhebirkhanova and Amanat Nagaeva. Ongoing in this connection are the measures on establishing their identity", reads the press-release of the FSB Public Relations Center.

The press-release also points out that the Russian General Prosecutor's Office consolidated the criminal cases on the air crashes and initiated proceedings on the case.

"The General Prosecutor's Office issued a ruling on consolidating the criminal cases initiated with regard to the air crashes under Article 105 (Murder), 205 (Terrorism) and 263 (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules and Rules of Operating Railway, Air or Water Transport) of the Russian Criminal Code and initiating proceedings on the criminal case", reads the press-release.

The FSB jointly with the General Prosecutor's Office and the Russian Interior Ministry continues investigation of the passenger aircraft crashes, which occurred in the Rostov and Tula regions killing 90.
