"We hope for all the participants to sit at the negotiating table for deciding on a special status for Transdnestria and general settlement of the conflict", he said.
Commenting on Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin's words that Cisinau would not talk with Tiraspol, William Hill said: "The mediators have not yet come up with a joint statement to this effect but the OSCE principle remains the same: problems should be handled at the table of negotiations for reaching agreement between the parties".
William Hill said he knows about Cisinau's appeals to the United States, the European Union and Rumania for being more actively involved in settling Transdnestria. "I think these countries have already proved their great interest and involvement in the matter. The possibility of their more active involvement should be decided by all the parties", William Hill stressed.
