BESLAN, NORTH OSSETIA, September 3 (RIA Novosti) - More than a hundred hostage bodies were found in the seized school, when cleaned of banditry, reports North Osset police.
Presumably ten bandits died in the school storm. Two or three groups, each of three or four men, escaped to take refuge in private house basements next door, and are desperately returning fire. No precise facts and figures can be got in an entangled, suspense-laden situation.
