"The brutal tragedy, as a result of which innocent children suffered, makes us think over some things and unite in order to retaliate the threat of international terrorism," the prime minister said on Wednesday during the meeting with chairman of the council of ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Adnan Terzic.
"We will by all means learn a lesson from this tragedy and make conclusions," Mr. Fradkov said.
According to him, all efforts are now aimed at rendering urgent assistance to and the normalization of life of those, who have suffered in the terrorist act.
"Tomorrow, at the government's session, we will consider a complex of priority measures for rendering assistance," the prime minister pointed out.
Mr. Terzic expressed deep condolences in connection with the tragic events in Beslan.
"We condemn all the terrorist acts and believe that taking children as hostages is an absolutely inhuman action. The world has so far not found an adequate answer to the actions of terrorists," he said.
According to Mr. Terzic, Bosnia and Herzegovina is a member of the international anti-terrorist coalition and, on its part, will do the utmost for combating international terrorism.
Mikhail Fradkov reported that today it is planned to sign an agreement between the Russian interior minister and the national security ministry of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which according to him, is a "serious step towards pooling the efforts of our countries in this area."
In the course of the meeting Mr. Fradkov positively estimated the development of relations between Russia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and pointed out that at this stage the issue related to the settlement of the Bosnian conflict was replaced by the development of the entirecomplex of bilateral relations.
Mr. Fradkov believes that cooperation is successfully developing in trade, economic, scientific, cultural and educational spheres. He also believes that the experience accumulated in relations with former Yugoslavia should be preserved.
