The information reached Novosti/Georgia news agency from Mr. Khaindrava's staff.
"Accusations were previously piled on Georgia-gangs were alleged to be leaving it across the frontier, as if Georgia were a den of armed fugitives from Chechnya! According to spokesmen of the Georgian Frontier Department and the OSCE mission, an end came to such allegations as soon as the OSCE mission was established, and teamwork started," Georgi Khaindrava said to newsmen.
"The OSCE frontier mission registers all movement to either side of the frontier, so our word no longer comes in contrast to Russia's. That is why we deem it necessary to go on with monitoring, and we ask the OSCE to prolong its mandate after December next," added Salome Zurabishvili.
