TEHRAN, September 13 (RIA Novosti) - Iran's representative in the IAEA Hosein Musaviyan stated that Iran would not undertake additional commitments on limiting the production of components for uranium enrichment centrifuges.

"We do not have to undertake new commitments on suspending the production of uranium enrichment components," reads Mr. Musaviyan's statement published on Monday in the local mass media.

According to him, "Tehran has already taken a series of confidence-building measures, in particular, voluntarily signed the additional protocol to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, suspended uranium enrichment works, made a comprehensive and complete report on its nuclear programs and opened all nuclear facilities for inspections."

"We do not intend to negotiate with regard to unlimited suspension of uranium enrichment works and do not accept it," stated Mr. Musaviyan.

The Iranian diplomat refused to comment on the draft resolution proposed by three European states, namely Germany, France and Great Britain, for the IAEA Board of Governors session, which opened on Monday in Vienna.

The three European states submitted for consideration the resolution on the Iranian nuclear programs containing new anti-Iranian theses and urging Iran to settle all remaining issues with the IAEA before November this year.
