EURASEC VICE-PREMIERS TO CONSIDER BASIC LIST OF COMMON CUSTOMS TARIFFS

MOSCOW, September 20 (RIA Novosti) - A meeting of the Integration Committee of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) at the level of deputy prime ministers will take place in Moscow on Monday.

The meeting will take place prior to a meeting of the Interstate EurAsEC Council at the prime ministerial level, due on September 21, Vladimir Nikanorov, an adviser to the EurAsEC general secretary, told RIA Novosti.

The conferees are expected to discuss making up a list of common customs tariffs, a draft schedule of seminars and consultations on experience exchange between the member-countries in conducting economic reforms in 2004-2005.

The conferees will also discuss a draft agreement on cooperation between the EurAsEC countries' frontier services in dealing with crises on the community's external borders. They will also discuss a draft agreement on the procedure of establishing special funds and using fund money to finance interstate target programmes.

The vice-premiers will also consider issues related to the activities of the Council on Transport Policy of the EurAsEC Integration Committee in 2003, and look into the process of integration of the member-states' transport complexes.

EurAsEC comprises Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgizia, Russia and Tajikistan.
