According to one of the organizers, Marshal of the Novgorod Gubernatorial Nobility Assembly Igor Izvekov, members of famous ancient families will attend the conference. About 50 descendants of noble families are expected to attend the conference. They will come from Russia and abroad.
Reports on the latest genealogical studies will be given at the forum. Apart from that the Forgotten and Unknown Country of the Ruriks book exhibit will be held at the Novgorod regional scientific universal library.
The organizers of the conference include the Russian Genealogical Federation, the Russian Nobility Assembly, the Novgorod Regional Branch of the Russian Genealogical Society and the Novgorod Regional Committee of Culture, Cinematography and Tourism.
The forum will end on Tuesday and is being held on the 142nd anniversary of Mikhail Mikeshin's monument, "Russia's Millennium," which was unveiled in Veliky Novgorod on September 21, 1862.
