* Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov is to hold talks with Premier of the Chinese State Council Wen Jiabao.
During his official visit to Moscow Wen Jiabao will lay a wreath to the tomb of the Unknown Soldier by the Kremlin wall, meet with representatives of public associations and Federation Council Speaker Sergei Mironov.
* The international trade center will host the opening ceremony of the world congress of information agencies "Information: 21st Century's Challenges". The presentation of the book UNESCO, a Factor of Hope by UNESCO Director General Koichiro Matsuura will be held at the congress.
* Head of the Russian federal drug control service Viktor Cherkesov will hold a briefing on the aspects of the service's work in 2004.
* The Russian Information Agency Novosti will host a press conference entitled "The creation of the Avionika concern: strategy and prospects". It is dedicated to President Vladimir Putin's Decree on creating the largest holding of Russia's defense industry.
* The Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will welcome a delegation of its Japanese analogue led by chairman Nobuo Yamaguchi. The delegation comprises heads of big Japanese companies representing the finance and credit, building, engineering, energy and other economic sectors.
* Aeroflot-Russian Airlines and Air France will mark the 50th anniversary of their cooperation. The program of celebrations includes a roundtable with veterans of the two national companies, and a press conference with Aeroflot Director General Valery Okulov and Air France President Jean Cyril Spinetta.
VLADIVOSTOK
* A destroyer, minelayer and support ship of the South Korean Navy will arrive in Vladivostok, the main base of the Russian Pacific Fleet. Russian and Korean sailors will practice joint sea rescue operations.
PETROZAVODSK
* The first investment forum of the North-Western federal district "Financial market instruments for the development of enterprises" will open in Petrozavodsk. Those participating will be heads of over 300 enterprises from the north-western regions, heads of constituent members of the Federation and representatives of Moscow's and St. Petersburg's leading investment and financial companies interested in investing in Russia's North-West.

* Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will participate in a general political discussion at the session of the UN General Assembly.
