China will never aspire for world domination even when it becomes strong, Wen Jiabao said.
China advocates peaceful development, as well as a multi-polar world, Mr. Jiabao stressed. Peaceful conditions must be created for China's development; our country can't develop without peace, he went on to say.
Russia and China are developing in line with different concepts; nonetheless, our two countries voice either similar or identical positions on many international issues, Wen Jiabao noted. We advocate a multi-polar world, the premier added. Different countries and different civilizations should treat each other on an equitable basis, Mr. Jiabao stressed.
This is my third visit to Russia; each time when I come here, I notice historic changes, Wen Jiabao said. I've been to Russia three times; and I've witnessed different stages of your country's development in the 1980s, the 1990s and today. Moscow has changed greatly nowadays. And I am sure that the people of Russia will enhance its might, attaining prosperity, as well, Wen Jiabao said.
According to him, the Chinese Education Ministry is now studying the possibility of recognizing the diplomas of private Russian colleges and universities. This decision will reflect Chinese realities, Mr. Jiabao noted.
Wen Jiabao reminded those present that Chinese and Russian education ministries had already agreed to recognize diplomas of national state-run colleges and universities.
