As the press service of the city committee of economic development, industrial policy and trade reported, to support Russian commodity producers and to popularise their achievements in the sphere of progressive research-intensive technologies, highly-efficient equipment and competitive goods and services are the forum's tasks.
More than 350 enterprises from Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania and China will participate in the Russian Industrialist forum this year.
Four specialised exhibitions - Promexpo, Mashex, Nuclear Industry, and Small and Medium-Size Business - will be held at the Lenexpo exhibition centre within the forum. They will tell of the novelties in the fields of machine-building, power engineering, machine-tool industry, metal working, and products and technologies of the defence-industry complex.
Plenary meetings, conferences and Round Table meetings will be organised for the forum's participants. Small Business. Technologies of Success-2004 international scientific-practical conference, Problem of Small Enterprises' Access to City Contract and Financial Resources conference, Machine-Tool Industry for Leading Branches of Industry conference, Security in Small Business Round Table meeting , and a business seminar on small business will be held in the days of the Russian Industrialist's work.
The Russian Industrialist-2004 forum will work till September 30.
