MOSCOW, September 28. (RIA Novosti) - Moscow Prosecutor Anatoly Zuyev has announced possible names of suicide bombers that blew themselves up in the Moscow underground and near the National hotel.

In February 2004, a metro carriage exploded between the Avtozavodskaya and Paveletskaya stations of the Zamoskvoretskaya line. Prosecutors launched criminal proceedings on counts of terrorism and murder.

Investigators received information that the suicide bomber could be Anzor Azret Aliyevich Izhayev, born in 1983, native of Karachayevo-Cherkessiya, a North Caucasian republic, Zuyev said in an interview with Rossiiskaya Gazeta.

"To check the information we ordered a molecular-genetic expertise. The complicated analysis has sown that the found fragments of the body - they were five - could belong to Izhayev. Experts say the probability is 99.9%," the prosecutor said.

To carry out the analysis, a blood sample was taken from Izhayev's mother.

"On January 28th Izhayev left Nalchik for Moscow. He arrived in the capital on January 30th. Investigation revealed that criminal proceedings had been launched against him in the North Caucasus and he was wanted," Zuyev added.

Talking of the explosion at the National hotel, situated not far from the Kremlin, he said that expertise shows that the suicide bomber could be Khedizhi Mangeriyeva, born in 1979.

"She is the native of the Kurchaloi village. Investigators of the Russian Federal Security Service came to Chechnya and interrogated her parents. They recognized their daughter on the photo of a woman's head made after the explosion," he said.

He also said, that the explosion at the Rizhskaya metro station on August 31st had killed an accomplice of the suicide bomber.

The accomplice was Nikolai Askerovich Kipkeyev, born in 1967. "He had two convictions and was on the federal wanted list for participation in illegal armed formations, attempt on a policeman's life and illegal keeping of weapons," the prosecutor explained.

"Investigation has serious reasons to believe that he died by chance. His function was to accompany the suicide bomber and then inform the organizers that the terrorist attack had taken place," he said.
