According to the latest data, 331 people, in particular, 172 children, were killed as a result of the terrorist attack on Beslan's school No. 1. 26 victims died in hospitals and 76 bodies remain unidentified.
Meanwhile, the Emergencies Ministry's Il-76 aircraft brought humanitarian aid from Russia and abroad to Beslan today. "The Il-76 aircraft landed in the airport at 10.20 Moscow time. It delivered 25.8 tons of medicines, medical equipment and food," the Emergencies Ministry's representative said.
In his words, Serbia and Montenegro supplied about 11 tons of medicines and medical equipment, Great Britain - 120 kg of medical equipment, Turkey - 220 kg of medicines and Mongolia - 380 kg of medicines.
The UN World Food Program supplied food products.
All in all, since September 5 about 300 tons of humanitarian cargo, 10 special vehicles (five ambulance cars, three fire-engines and two buses) and a mobile aid station have been delivered to Beslan.
According to the Emergencies Ministry's data, over 150 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered from Italy, the United States, France, Norway, Greece, Austria, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, China, South Africa, Sweden, Hungary and the Netherlands.
