PORSCHE TO INVEST 10 MILLION EUROS IN CONSTRUCTION OF ITS MOSCOW BRANCH

BERLIN, October 4 (RIA Novosti's Taras Lariokhin) - The German car giant Porsche invests 10 million euros in the construction of its Moscow branch.

An agreement on 49-year rent with further prolongation of a land plot in Moscow was signed with the Moscow authorities on Monday at the EXPO Real international specialized exhibition in Munich (Russia participates in this exhibition), the Porsche press service said. Modern trade and personnel training complex will be built in Moscow to place the Porsche branch on the road from the Sheremetevo-2 airport to Moscow's center.

The construction will be completed in 2005.

Porsche centers are being built in St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg, the Porsche representative said.

Porsche is going to sell 3,000-4,000 cars in Russia by the end of the decade. According to the press service, 122 Porsches were sold in Russia in the first six months of 2004.
