According to the press service of the local administration, Mr. Bogdanchikov told the governor that the volume of investment had been approved by the Rosneft board.
"According to Rosneft's president, the board has fully heeded the opinion of the Krasnoyarsk territory's administration on the transportation of the extracted oil, having agreed to invest in the construction of a pipeline to the Dikson port and in the development of the oil-loading infrastructure of the port," the press release reads.
Rosneft has also confirmed its intention of assigning priority to contractors registered in the Krasnoyarsk territory during the development of the oil deposit. In 2008, Rosneft intends to embark on the industrial phase of the Vankorsky oil extraction, and in 2009 the deposit is to be put into full operation.
According to the sides' calculations, the oil deposit development will bring $0.8-1.2 billion of annual revenues to the budgets of all levels.
Presently, the extracted reserves are estimated at 125 million metric tonnes of oil and 79 billion cubic metres of gas.
